Lupton Associates (“Lupton,” “we,” “us”) is a manufacturers’ representative firm based in Canandaigua, New York. This policy explains what information we collect through luptons.com and our quote and contact forms, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote or contact us, we collect what you enter on the form: your name, work email, company, phone number (optional), project details such as what you are making, quantities, materials and timing, and any drawings or files you upload. If you apply for a job, we also collect the information and resume you provide.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our web server, security service and analytics tools record standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page that referred you, and, if you arrived from a Google ad, the ad click identifier.

How we use your information

We use it to respond to your request, prepare and follow up on quotes, schedule meetings, answer questions, consider job applicants, keep the site secure, and understand which pages and ads bring people to us so we can improve the site and our advertising.

How we share your information

Manufacturers we represent. To get you a quote, we share your project details, drawings and business contact information with the manufacturing partners we represent that are suited to your project.
Service providers. We use companies that host our website, secure it, run our forms and customer database, provide analytics and advertising measurement, and send messages for us. They may use your information only to provide those services to us.
Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, customers or the public.

We do not sell your personal information.

Text Messaging (SMS) and Mobile Information

If you provide your mobile number and check the SMS consent box on one of our forms, Lupton Associates will use that number to send text messages about your quote request, such as RFQ confirmations, quote status updates, follow-ups from our sales team and meeting scheduling. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP, calling (585) 393-4999 or emailing [email protected].

We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data or consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except with the service providers (for example, our SMS platform provider) that send messages on our behalf and are bound to keep this information confidential. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies and analytics

How long we keep information

We keep quote, customer and applicant records as long as we need them for the business relationship, our legal and accounting obligations, and our records, then delete or de-identify them.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information you gave us, or to stop contacting you, by emailing [email protected]. You can unsubscribe from our emails using the link in them, and from texts by replying STOP.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no website or transmission is completely secure.

Children

Our site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
