Founded in 1969 by Alan Lupton Sr, Lupton Associates provides engineered products to OEM's and Contract Manufacturers. With a service record to many of our principals of over 25 years and an average employee tenure exceeding 15 years, Lupton Associates has grown to become a leading solutions provider in the North American Manufacturing Industry. Today the firm is led by Alan Lupton II.  Graham Smith and Al Lupton Sr continue to work in advisory roles providing valuable insight and knowledge from their 40 plus years of industry experience.

      • Alan Lupton Sr.
        Contact Alan Lupton

        Al Lupton Sr, founded the agency in 1969 after leaving his position as a buyer for prototype and production parts at Xerox Corporation.  Previously, he was a production control administrator at Xerox and Jarl Extrusions in East Rochester, NY.  Al has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology.  He founded the organization and was responsible for many of the key principals and key client relationships which formed the cornerstone of Lupton Associates.

      • Graham Smith
        Contact Graham Smith

        As Vice President of Operations for Lupton Associates, Graham Smith is responsible for the firm's HR, accounting and financial operations.  He joined the firm in 1978.  Before that, he was Senior Auditor at a Rochester-based accounting firm, Miller Associates, for more than ten years.  His history also includes several years as the President of a large sheet metal fabrication company.  Graham has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology and is a licensed CPA.  He is a member of several professional organizations, holds a pilot license and is a member of the town's zoning board of appeals.

      • Alan Lupton II
        Contact Alan Lupton

        As President of Lupton Associates, Alan Lupton leads the organization's Sales, Marketing and Business Development efforts.  Alan has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from The University of Vermont, Kalkin School of Business.  From 1992 - 1996, Alan provided coverage in New England calling on accounts such as Compaq, Intel, Cisco, Nortel and various contract manufacturers.  In 1996, Alan relocated to Rochester, NY and developed relationships within Xerox and Carrier.  He now travels with the salespeople in all territories providing management oversight, supporting the development of strategic accounts, assisting with program management and business development in all areas.

      • Mary Smith 
        Contact Mary Smith

        Mary Smith joined Lupton Associates in 2015. She is responsible for the agency's human resource and accounting functions. Before joining Lupton Associates, Mary's extensive accounting background includes more than 10 years as an accounting manager and controller in the telecommunications field. In addition, she has worked in public accounting for more than 15 years. Mary is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Oswego.

      • Ron Martin
        Contact Ron Martin

        Ron Martin joined Lupton Associates in 1984. Ron Martin calls on accounts in New England, including Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine and Rhode Island. Ron has extensive experience working with his customers on cost reduction and Kanban implementation. Before joining Lupton Associates, Ron had ten years of experience in purchasing and product management at Telelogic, Savin Corporation and Sperry Univac. Ron has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Oneonta and has completed the Zero Defect Program at Philip Crosby's Quality College in Winter Park, FL.

      • Chris Dunham
        Contact Chris Dunham

        Chris Dunham joined Lupton Associates in 1995. Chris calls on accounts in New England, including portions of Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Vermont. Some of Chris’ major accounts include Raytheon, Alcatel, Sun Microsystems, HP, EMC, design firms and several contract manufacturers. Chris has a keen insight into the development and program management of integrated solutions for a wide variety of applications. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Rochester.

      • Cass Roberts
        Contact Cass Roberts

        Cass Roberts joined Lupton Associates in 1995 to develop new business in New York, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania Ontario and Michigan, along with portions of Indiana. Cass has excellent business development and prospecting skills which he balances with an ability to manage and sustain existing customer relationships.

        Cass comes to the agency from the energy industry with fifteen years of sales experience. He was previously employed by Pal Energy Corporation of Palmyra, NY, acting as Vice President of Marketing. Cass is a graduate of Hobart College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics.

      • Zack Hicks
        Contact Zack Hicks

        Zack Hicks joined Lupton Associates in 2015. Zacks's territory includes parts of Western New England, Eastern New York and Quebec, Canada. Zack calls on companies such as IBM, Harris, Welch Allyn, ITT Goulds Pumps, and various contract manufacturers. Before joining Lupton Associates, Zack's business to business experience included executive search and recruitment at the C-level. Zack is a graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College. Prior to college, he spent time on the New England Golf Pro Tour.

      • Greg Johnson
        Contact Greg Johnson

        Greg Johnson joined Lupton Associates in 1997. Greg calls on accounts in Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia and New Jersey. Greg has developed many valuable contacts and has a high level of insight into his territory. His major accounts include companies such as Agilent, Volvo - Mack Truck, Siemens and JLG. Prior to joining Lupton Associates, he was employed by KJ Transportation as a Sales Executive before being promoted to Vice President of Customer Service and Special Hauling. Greg has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Marketing from Western Michigan University.

      • Tom Osso
        Contact Tom Osso

        Tom Osso joined Lupton Associates in 1996. Previously he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for ACDI, an electronics design and engineering firm. Tom has extensive experience in electronics, telecommunications and computer hardware design and manufacturing. In addition, he has an aptitude for developing new business that incorporates integrated solutions, both mechanical and electrical. His geographic area of responsibility includes Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho and key accounts in the Western states. Tom has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Maryland.

      • John Walker
        Contact John Walker

        John Walker joined Lupton Associates in 1998. John began his career at Air Centers of SC in a technical support role and then advanced to outside sales of air compressors and compressed air systems. At Lupton Associates, John has proven his skill at prospecting and developing a broad base of accounts. He has a proven ability to balance the importance of generating new clients while maintaining key existing account relationships. He has a Bachelor of Science in Management from Clemson University. John has been the recipient of the Elizabeth Schuler Management Leadership Award and has served as acting president of the Society for the Advancement of Management. John covers North & South Carolina, Georgia and key accounts in Minnesota.

      • Mike Laney
        Contact Mike Laney

        Mike Laney joined Lupton Associates in 2009. Mike has more than twenty five years of manufacturing and sales experience. Most recently, Mike founded and directed his own manufacturer's representative firm, Outsource Strategies, Inc. Mike has also held positions as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Regional Vice President of Sales and Regional Sales Manager. He has extensive experience in the metal fabrication industry, as well as CNC machinery and automation. He is known throughout our industry for his solid track record of problem solving and customer support, while maintaining a high level of integrity with his clients and peers.  Mike is focussed on accounts in Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama and Northern Florida.

      • Jennings Harley
        Contact Jennings Harley 

         Jennings Harley joined Lupton Associates in 2012. Jennings comes to our agency with more than sixteen years of experience in business to business sales. His career has included positions in account management, business development, branch management and solution sales.

        Jennings joins our team in the Southeast providing additional coverage in Arkansas, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia.

      • Lucinda Steinhauser
        Contact Lucinda Steinhauser

        In January of 2009, Lucinda Steinhauser joined Lupton Associates in Marketing and Sales Support. Lucinda has a wealth of experience in both sales and marketing, where she focused on the identification of her customer’s needs, the cultivation of a trusting relationship and the development of new business. Before joining Lupton Associates, Lucinda had over eight years experience selling learning solutions in higher education. While completing her graduate degree, she also worked as a freelance sales and marketing consultant for both local and remote sales organizations.

        Lucinda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and a Master of Arts degree in Informatics, both from the University at Buffalo.

      • Tammy Hall 
        Contact Tammy Hall 

        Tammy Hall has been with Lupton Associates since 1989 as our Office Manager.  Tammy's background and expertise is in accounting and bookkeeping.  She manages the accounts payable, accounts receivable and various other accounting functions.  She provides invaluable support to the entire sales organization and is instrumental in professionally handling special projects and events.
